I thought that we would struggle with the menu. On first look it seemed quite pretentious but really we all found something to please us. The staff were fantastic, very friendly but not overly friendly.
Homely, friendly but with the outstanding food and service of somewhere far from 'humble'!
This is a lovely place! We enjoyed their Sunday menu of two courses for 18.50. Only around five options per course but a good range. Both courses were very rich so great for a treat.
My wife and I and friends tried The Humble Onion for the first time last week and we all went away very impressed.The food was outstanding as were the staff.I'm very much looking forward to another visit soon.
